CHENILLE BODY FOR WOOLYBUGGER
1. Grasp end of chenille with hackle pliers and wrap forward. I use rubber tipped hackle pliers. You can use your fingers but the chenille will unravel. Make first wrap behind hackle tie in then second wrap in front. |
2. Make sure wraps are side by side with no gaps and no wraps on top of another. |
3. Wrap almost to eye of hook. Leave more space than you think you need. This area will get crowded when we wrap hackle and tie off and whip finish. |
4. Tie off with about 4 wraps of thread and cut excess. You are now ready to Palmer Hackle. |
