Fished with Steve. We decided to explore a SC lowcountry coastal black water river. I had never floated this river and I had never talked to anyone who had. I just found the river in some paddler books and seen pics on the internet and thought, hey, this might be a good float. We didn't catch a lot of fish and no big fish but the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Biggest fish caught was a bowfin. However, it did remind me of 2 great movies...Cape Fear and Southern Comfort.
Fished a black water lake about 300 acres. Cold front came thru and...well, fishing wasn't good but the scenery was.
