Start with Tail andBody tied on properly. Be sure there is a lot of room at the hook eye. |

Take 6 to 8 strands of pearl, green or chartruese Krystal Flash and hold against hook shank at a downward angle where body material ends. Make sure that there is enough flash length to almost reach end of tail. |

Make a loose wrap of thread. |

Align bobbin with thread. |

|
Tighten toward you. Flash material should roll on top of hook shank. |

|
Secure with 5 or 6 heavy wraps of thread. |

Trim excess material. |

Finished Flash underwing. Ready to Tie In Top Wing. |
